What a difference compared to my previous multi gym. Feels like a proper workout!

I was one of the first people to purchase the Legion V3 Pin Loaded Multi-Functional Trainer with Smith Machine after spending a year and a half frequently looking online for something similar in the UK.

All other racks like this have their weight stacks geared towards the US market so are in 5lbs increments per weight plate. This makes it a bit harder to calculate how much you are pulling on the middle 2:1 ratio in kg so I wanted one in 5kg increments. This weight stack is in 5kg increments but also has the stickers in lbs if you needed to log your weights in lbs.

What can I say it was worth the wait. This rack is a serious beast and I have been using it now for a month. Its got everything you need in such a compact unit and the price is really cheap for what you get. (PS this is commercial grade kit, not cheap at all!)

You can do so many exercises on this, the pulleys are really smooth and they are aluminum so not cheap plastic pulleys like you find with some pulley machines online. The middle pulley system is on guide rollers to protect the powder coating on the uprights and they are easy to adjust up and down.

I am female and 5 foot 6 with an average amount of strength and put this rack together myself (I have had a fair amount of experience putting gym kit together though) it took me about 8 hours in total over 4 days so if you are ok with complex flat pack furniture you will be fine with this. In fact the hardest thing to do was tear the crate apart it comes in so I could take it to the skip!

This company can not do enough for you either, since I was one of the first to get it I had a lot of questions which were all answered straight away by the Managing Director Andy. He sent me a few videos on how to route the cables as the instructions are not the best for that part of the setup. I had some feedback on the instructions and some minor issues with the setup I felt needed to be placed in the instructions and Andy has taken my feedback on and is in the process of getting a more detailed setup guide for the install written up to give to future customers.

Honestly if you are on the fence about getting this, just get it now while its still a low price. Its worth the 6k price tag! The smith machine is an actual Olympic barbell with decent knurling on it and is really smooth to use.

The accessories you get with this thing are unreal too, all of them high quality.

This is by far the best thing I have in my home gym and I would buy it three times over if it came to it. Its commercial quality and will last me till I am old.

Nice piece of equipment, well packed and very friendly delivery, on time even though their van had broken down - driver delivered with his own car. The only criticism I’d have would be the instructions are very basic. I ended up having what appear to be strengthening plates left over as they were packed along with one of the last pieces to assemble. Equipment is very sturdy without them though so I left them off.

I would say this is (almost) gym quality. The bearings of the bar roll smooth and the weights perform well. Only thing I notice is they have a slight slippy texture to pick up.

I’ve really thrown myself into working out in the last 12-15 months and for the last 6 months have been using a second hand barbell set that only about 60kg of plates and was a 1 inch diameter bar. Bought this bundle because it was a great price and I wanted to upgrade to an Olympic bar and have a good amount of weight in plates to allow for natural progression of my workouts. These do not disappoint! Very happy with this bundle.

We recently contacted the boys at Legion Fitness Equipment about installing a multigym in readiness for Christmas and I must say the customer service from them both was outstanding. They were so helpful in explaining how everything works, costings and installation. We were worried about it being installed in time but they went out of their way to make it happen and we are absolutely thrilled. They travelled from Oxford to South Wales to install it for us and I highly recommend paying the installation fee as its worth every penny. The equipment is superb, extremely strong, quality is excellent and exceeded our expectations. We also bought the dumbbell rack and the kettle bells. We couldnt recommend them highly enough.
